Wonga Wonga Vine

Wonga Wonga Vine

Pandorea pandorana

Description

Meet our gorgeous climber! This lovely native plant has stunning twining branches and beautiful, glossy green leaves that shine in the sun. It blooms from winter to summer, producing masses of gorgeous pendulous bells in a range of colours - pure white, creamy yellow, or sunny yellows with purple veins. Growing rapidly and thriving in tropical to temperate climates, this climber can even handle light frosts! It's perfect for basking in the sun to partial shade, and does well in most soils as long as they've got decent drainage. To keep it under control, simply give it a good prune back hard every now and then. A butterfly magnet, this plant is also great for gardeners who want to add some colour and interest. Just be careful when planting - our climber can grow pretty big and twine its way through trees and structures (and not always in the best places!). So, make sure to give it a wide berth near drains and other sensitive areas.
